These terms apply whenever you use Austele. If you don't agree with them, don't use the site.
What Austele is
Austele compares and reviews Australian mobile plans, providers, and APN settings. It's general information, not financial, legal, or telecommunications advice, and it isn't tailored to your situation. Whether a plan suits you depends on how much you call and how much data you use, so treat our comparisons as a starting point and check the provider's own terms before you sign up.
Plan and pricing information
We source plan details from providers' public websites and try to keep them current, but carriers change prices and run promotions constantly, and there will be times when a figure here is behind. The full accuracy disclaimer is on the privacy and disclaimer page. If you spot something wrong, tell usand we'll fix it.
Advertising and affiliate links
Some outbound links to providers are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up after clicking one. This never changes where a plan ranks or what we say about it. We also run display ads through Google AdSense. Our full advertising policy is on the how we test page.
Using the site
You can read, link to, and share our pages. You can't scrape the site at scale, republish our content as your own, or use it in a way that disrupts the service for other people. Austele isn't a party to any contract between you and a carrier, and we can't help with billing disputes or account problems on a provider's side.
Our content
The writing, reviews, and page design on Austele are ours. Provider names and logos belong to their owners and appear here for identification. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine. Copying whole pages is not.
Links to other sites
We link out to providers and other sources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, pricing, or privacy practices.
Liability
We provide the site as is and don't guarantee it will be accurate, complete, or available at all times. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss that results from relying on information here. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We update these terms when how the site works changes. The version on this page is the one that applies.
